Practical information for travelling to Cannes for your French summer course.
Cannes is easily accessible by plane, train, bus and car. Nice Côte d’Azur Airport is the nearest international airport, while Cannes train station provides convenient connections with Nice and other destinations in France.
If you are staying with one of our French host families, we can also arrange a transfer from Nice Airport or Cannes train station.
Nice Côte d’Azur Airport is the nearest international airport to Cannes. It is approximately 30 km from Cannes and offers flights to many destinations in France and abroad.
From the airport, you can reach Cannes by airport bus, taxi, private transfer or a combination of tram/train. We recommend checking current routes, timetables and fares directly on the Nice Côte d’Azur Airport website before travelling.
Transfers for Homestay Students: Students staying with one of our French host families can book a transfer arranged by the school from Nice Côte d’Azur Airport or Cannes train station. Transfers must be arranged in advance.
Cannes has a centrally located train station with regular connections to Nice and other destinations along the French Riviera, as well as connections to major French cities.
