French summer courses for adults in Cannes

Our French summer courses for adults are designed for students who want to improve their French while enjoying a summer stay on the French Riviera. We welcome complete beginners as well as students with an existing knowledge of French, up to B2 level.

Adults join our summer courses for many different reasons: to communicate more confidently when travelling, improve their French for work or studies, prepare for a longer stay in France, work towards a language examination, or simply enjoy learning French during their holiday.

Morning classes leave the afternoon free to enjoy Cannes, relax at the beach, explore the French Riviera or simply spend time practising French outside the classroom. Students looking for a more intensive learning experience can also add afternoon French classes.

Small classes and plenty of opportunities to speak French

Adult students learn in small groups of no more than 10 participants, according to their French level. Small classes give everyone more opportunities to participate, ask questions and practise speaking French.

Lessons place particular emphasis on communication in a friendly and encouraging environment where students can build confidence and use French without being afraid of making mistakes.

Class activities

Communication: Students are encouraged to use French actively through conversations, discussions and practical communication activities.

Language skills: Lessons develop speaking, listening, reading and writing skills while strengthening grammar, vocabulary and pronunciation.

Interactive Learning: Depending on the group’s level and interests, teachers may use discussions, texts, role plays, presentations and other activities to encourage students to communicate naturally in French.

Optional afternoon lessons

1:1 Lessons
Adults who would like to focus on a particular goal can also choose private French lessons, subject to teacher availability. These lessons can focus more specifically on conversation, grammar, comprehension, business French or any other particular language need. More info

Intensive French courses
Students who would like to study more can choose our intensive programme and continue their French lessons in the afternoon, from 1:15 pm to 2:45 pm. The intensive programme combines morning and afternoon lessons, for a total of 30 45-minute lessons per week. More info

First day & last day of the
French Courses For Adults in France

First day:
Complete beginners do not need to take a level test. Students who already have some knowledge of French are assessed at the beginning of their course to help our teachers place them in the most suitable group.

Last day:
At the end of their course, students receive a certificate of participation.
