In order to guarantee you high quality teaching, you will be taught by our professional, friendly, engaging and fun French-native teachers with rich and varied backgrounds.

They all hold the necessary university diplomas to teach French as a second language and have extensive sucessful teaching experiences.

Our teachers are approachable and enthusiastic to teach all ages and all levels from beginner to advanced, and have an ability to create a lively, amusing and motivating atmosphere through the active participation of the students.

We have met a lot of students from all over the world over the past 13 years– many smiling faces and happy memories! We love what we do, and who we do it with!

Benoist, Fidel
& Michèle

Benoît (on the left) holds a Master of Arts in French as a foreign language and teaches teenagers and adults. He has taught in Germany, Russia and now in Ecuador. He speaks French, English, German, Spanish and some Russian.
Fidel (in the middle) holds a Bachelor of Arts in French language and a Bachelor in tourism. He teaches children and teenagers. He speaks French and is fully-fluent in English.
Michèle (on the right) holds a Master of Arts in French as foreign language and is a certified secondary school teacher . She teaches adult French classes. She speaks French and English.

Mathieu

Mathieu has a dual degree earned at the University of Lyon and is qualified to teach French as a foreign language and History/Geography. He is currently studying towards a PhD. He is keen on involving students in cross-curricular learning activities with history/geography language. He teaches teenager and adult French classes. Mathieu speaks English and Italian.

Louana

Louana hold a certified primary school teacher. She specializes in teaching children of beginner and non-beginner level.

Baptiste

Baptiste (on the left) is a native of Cannes and is currently in training at the university. He works with us as French language assistant in charge of taking children and teenagers in small groups of 2-4 persons in order to insist on a particular language skill, whenever it is necessary – the idea is to give young student extra support in a more personal approach and help gain more confidence and enthusiasm. Besides, Baptiste serves as a volunteer firefighter within local fire stations.

Emilie

Emilie holds a Master of Arts in French as a foreign language and is a certified primary school teacher. She teaches non-beginner children courses.

Etienne

Etienne holds a Bachelor of Arts in French language and Bachelor in journalism. Whilst teaching French, he attends the institute of political studies. He tutors children and teenagers. He also leads activities and excursions.

Nicolas

Nicolas teaches adult French classes. He hold a PhD in French language and litterature earned at Emory University, USA and teaches in Florida.

Christine

Christine (on the left) holds Master of Arts in French as foreign language. She specializes in teaching adults of all levels.

Although Covid restrictions were relaxed in France 2022 the school was closed but they matched us with two of their tutors for "one-on-one" sessions in Cannes; one tutor was working with me and the other with the kids (age 14 and 16). Tutoring was excellent and both tutors were highly adaptive to meet our respective needs. Being on-site in Cannes also allowed us to make detours in the city to interact in everyday situations which further enriched our experience. We've previously attended French courses both online and onsite (in Paris) but the tutors at "Passeport pour les langues - French Summer Classes" stand apart for their professionalism, highly recommended!

Absolutely fantastic! Charles was super responsive and organised two superb professional teachers for my daughter and myself. The whole process was efficient, and the teachers dynamic and engaging. They came directly to our hotel as the school was closed due to Covid. I can't recommend them enough. Thank you

Due to the COVID-19 situation, our son couldn't travel to Cannes to join the French summer classes. Instruction is done via skype (France-USA). The teacher is very flexible, funny, follows the school teacher's instructions and suggestions; there is an excellent and interesting conversation on-going about current events. Despite being the only student with the teacher, our son is enjoying the classes. I hope to send him in person next year! Thank you very much to the administration and the teacher.

Thank you very much for hosting this excellent summer school.Apart from the great opportunity for my son to learn French, we are also grateful for having been introduced to both Cannes and Cannes La Bocca by the summer school. Now our summers wouldn’t be complete without spending some time there.
